He wasn't chicken. He wasn't scared, this was simple. Run up to the building, spray the security camera, fuck up the place, and leave. Yeah, easy peasy.

"Come on, Mikey!" his mates called from behind the wall. They all struggled to hold in their laughs, they didn't think he could do it, that he couldn't live up to his brother's legends. But he will prove them all wrong.

But, what would happen if he was caught? Gee had been sent to boarding school. Mikey wouldn't be able to survive. Yet, he wouldn't be able to survive his mom forever being 'severely disappointed' with him. Though his so called 'friends' were not making things much easier.

"Pussy!" one coughed, and Mikey boiled with anger. He saw red as he sprinted up to the warehouse and kicked down the door in one blow. The guys behind him howled in shock and laughter, but Mikey had more important matters to take care of, his pride, and his brother's name.

It took a moment for Mikey’s eyes to adjust to the hazy darkness of the warehouse. He quickly located the security camera for the room and threw a step stool down, jumping up and reached into his bag, grabbing a can of spray paint and reached up, spraying the lens of the camera black. His heart pounded, he knew he hadn’t done it quite right. He knew the camera had picked up frames of his face before he had sprayed, but it was done now, and it was do or die time.

He looked around a smirked a little finding a mostly blank wall and reaching into the backpack that he had slung over his shoulder. He pulled out a silver can of blue Krylon and shook it, listening to the marble stirring the paint inside. He glanced around him quickly to make sure everything was quiet before he started to spray. He didn’t have the artistic vision that his brother did. Gerard had been a visionary, truly. He had made statements with his graffiti, he had put thought and planning into his vandalism and had raised poignant points on the socio-political climate and the police-state that their hometown had turned into. Mikey drew a crude drawing of a penis.

Once he finished the paint job he went about the room, throwing things to the ground and wrecking as much as he could in as short of a time as possible. He grabbed his can of paint again and moved to the door he had kicked open, spraying a large X over the entire thing. His head shot up as he saw flashing red and blue lights on top of two police cruisers screech up to the building and come to a stop. Mikey dropped the can and turned on a dime, starting to run. He made it all of twenty yards before he was tackled to the ground by an officer about twice his size.

The cops held him as he tried to fight away, and he hung his head in shame as he got taken out of the warehouse in handcuffs, and when he looked up the group of dickheads that were his mates had obviously run off to leave Mikey with the punishment. Fucking bastards.

The journey in the police car was not fun. His thoughts were mainly “Shit, mom’s gonna kill me.” And he wasn’t kidding. Gerard had set his fucking classroom on fire, and she lost all ends with him. Gee had been all calm-ass about it and accepted that he would be sent away, but Mikey wasn’t that type of person, he would be the one who would lash out at anyone who tried to speak to him, and would probably end up breaking something.

For what had seemed like forever, the car stopped outside his house (if you could even call it that). The officer told him to get out of the car, and he did as so. They walked up to his scratched front door, and the policeman knocked. Mikey held his breathe in fear. This wouldn’t be good.

His mother opened the door, and her expression instantly turned to rage as he saw the officer holding Mikey by his arm, and she saw the handcuffs on his hands, and almost lost it. She tried to calm herself in front of the officer, but Mikey knew that he would get the shouting later.

“Can I help you Bruce?” Mikey found it quite hilarious how his mom had learnt the officers by name because of all the encounters with Gerard.

“Looks like the kid’s taken after his brother. We caught him vandalizing a warehouse. It’s his first time, Donna, so we’re going to turn him over to you, but if it happens again, you know we’ll have to book him.”

“What the actual fuck Mikey.” Was all his mom said as she closed the door after the officer had left. He said nothing, and looked down at his hands, raw from the cuffs. “How dare you. How fucking DARE you think that you could pull of something like this under my nose, when you KNOW you would get in trouble, and get sent away just like Gerard did!?” he still said nothing, determined not to look at her in the eyes. “I’m disgusted.” She sighed, and breathed heavily, before screaming and picking up the nearest thing she could, a book, and through it at Mikey, and it hit him square in the face. Mikey howled in pain and brought his hand up to his eye which he could already feel was throbbing and swelling.

“What the fuck Mom!?” he screamed, then regretted it as he saw the pure anger in her face.

“Say that again.” She threatened. Mikey winced and looked down again, and he heard her walk towards him. “Look at me when I’m fucking talking to you, you little shit.” He refused, and tried his best to ignore her. Big mistake. Her hands grabbed either side of his head and she forced him to look at her in the face. He grimaced and tried his best to look away, but failed to. Her eyes were burning with hate and she shook her head as she scowled and slapped her son hard. Mikey fell to the ground as she screamed insults at him, and he scurried up the stairs to his room, and slammed the door shut to block out the roars.

There was silence for a few minutes before he heard a voice right outside his door.

“You’re going to Blair. I’ve just rang them up. You’re leaving tomorrow.”

---

Mikey stared out the window of his mother’s car as she drove up the long gravel driveway of Blair Academy for Delinquent Adolescents. The campus was beautiful, a plush green lawn with huge gorgeous oak trees spreading shady spots over the greenery, the flora was colorful and in full bloom, and the long white-gravel driveway lead up to a colossal building made of brick with stately white pillars spanning five floors along the front, but Mikey knew it was a lie. The beautiful façade of Blair Academy was only for the public eye. They put up a wholesome clean front to hide the fact that they housed delinquents and dredges of teenage society. He had been inside Blair Academy before when he and his mother had visited Gerard last year. He knew it was a fucking delinquent prison inside and he was furious at his mother for sending him there. He grit his teeth sharply as his mother stopped the car and demanded that he get out. Mikey scoffed and climbed out of the car, slamming the door. His mother stood up from the car, opening the trunk and pulling Mikey’s three bags out of the trunk, throwing them in a pile on the ground before she narrowed her eyes at Mikey.

“You brought this on yourself, Michael. You want to be like your brother so badly, then fine! We’ll let you be his problem now.” Without even so much as a hug, a well wish or an “I love you”, she got back in the car and drove away, the dust flying up behind her car.

“Fuck this.” Mikey scoffed and his eyes scanned the place, maybe nobody had seen him yet, maybe he could just take off. His idea was dashed, however, as he saw a tall dark haired man in a suit standing at the doors.

“Another Way brother. My aren’t we lucky.” The man gave Mikey a smirk. “Get your things, Michael, let’s go.”

Mikey scowled and picked up his bags following the man inside.

“Welcome to Blair Academy, Mr. Way. I am Headmaster McCarthy. Put your things here, they’ll be taken up to your room. Come now, I’ll give you the nickel tour.” Mr. McCarthy led Mikey through the hallways, pointing out rooms and explaining what they were for. “This first floor is where you will find all of the classrooms. Your daily schedule has been made, and you are expected and required to attend all of your lessons, and be on time and studious. The second level is the girls dormitory, and boys are forbidden to be on the second level at any time unchaperoned. We do not allow fraternization between our male and female students, is that clear?” Mr. McCarthy raised an eyebrow steeply at Mikey.

“Yeh. Whatever.”

“I think what you meant to say was ‘Yes, SIR.’ Respect will get you everywhere in this world, Michael. The third level is the boys dormitory, students are assigned three to a room.” Mr. McCarthy led Frank up to the third floor and down to the end of a long corridor that had rooms on each side. “Here you are.” He reached down and pulled out a key, unlocking the door. “Your room, unfortunately, is under evening lockdown for the time being. When a student steps out of line, their privileges are revoked, and it is unfortunate the actions of one of your roommates has to negatively impact the other two.” He pushed the door open and Mikey blinked as he saw two boys sitting on their respective beds. “Mr. Way these are your roommates, Frank Iero and Ian Callum. Gentlemen, this is Michael Way, he will be your new roommate. We will see you all at dinner time.” With that he pulled the door shut behind him and Mikey heard the click of the man locking the door.

Mikey’s eyes scanned the room quickly, his bags had been brought up and placed on a bed in the corner along with a stack of blankets and a pillow. The walls of the room were completely blank and there was no décor at all sans the three beds, a lamp next to each one, and a small two-drawer dresser for each student. His eyes landed on Ian Callum, who looked completely out of his element. He was a nerdy looking kid with thick red hair and glasses, and he didn’t acknowledge Mikey in the slightest, just remained leaned over a notebook on his bed, furiously writing something down. His eyes continued around the room and landed on Frank Iero, now THAT was a kid who looked like he belonged at Blair Academy. The boy had piercing and tattoos, tattered clothes and what looked to be a self-done haphazard Mohawk which was dyed fire-engine red and fell across his forehead, hanging in his eyes. He sat on his own bed staring blatantly at Mikey, sizing the boy up.

“Way, is it?” Frank smirked a little. “You wouldn’t happen to be related to Gerard would you?”

Mikey arched his eyebrow steeply. “He’s my brother.”

“So you’re a family of troublemakers?” The boy smirked before Mikey could scoff indignantly Frank continued. “What did you do, anyway?”

“Vandalism.” Mikey sneered a little and rolled his eyes, moving to his bags and starting to unpack them.

“Oooh creative!” Frank snickered under his breath. “That’s like the most cliché thing you could get in trouble for.” With that, Frank flopped back on his bed, grabbing a comic book and flipping through it.

“Yeah well what did you get in trouble for?” Mikey grit his teeth and glared at Frank.

“I killed someone.” Frank spoke from behind his comic book before slowly lowering it, staring straight into Mikey’s eyes unwaveringly.

Mikey blinked a little and knit his eyebrows. “No you didn’t! If you had killed someone you’d be in actual prison, not at Blair.”

Frank stared at Mikey for a moment, a twitch of a smirk tugging at his lips. “Fine, you’re right, I didn’t kill anyone. But I almost killed someone!”

Mikey stared, shifting a little awkwardly. He jumped as he heard the first sound of their third roommate Ian. “He’s lying. Frank always lies when someone asks him why he’s here. He won’t tell anyone. When I asked him he told me he put a bomb in his teacher’s car.” Ian never looked up at Mikey once while he talked, just continued to furiously write in his notebook. “As if Frank is smart enough to build a bomb.”

Mikey blinked at Ian and then looked over at Frank who was scowling at them. “So why are you here, Ian?” The boy paused his writing for a moment, not looking up at Mikey, just staring at his paper for a moment before he simply dismissed Mikey’s inquiry and started writing again.

Frank smirked a little and grabbed a shoe from the floor, throwing it at Ian and clocking the boy in the back. “Ian is here because he likes fire!” He snickered a little as Ian ignored the shoe, and Frank.

“Welcome to hell, Mikey-boy.”

Oohh this looks interesting. I love the title :D That's amazing. And I've never ever read a deliquent!Gerard before. And it's nice to see Frank paired with someone other than Frank, even if I do love Frerard. The idea is really good, and the writing's great as well! Well done guys!

Frikey. How refreshing. Frikey is under-appreciated in this world. And with two brill writers like you guys, it'll be FAB-ulous. XD

LOL Mikey, that was dumb. I'm sorry, but it was. Not worth it to draw a dick on a wall. PFFCHTFCHHHFT it was funny though. ANd his mom is so fucking mean. Gerard lit his classroom on fire (boss) and I repeat, all Mikey did was draw a dick on a wall. Seriously, get your priorities straight.

Mikey pulling the badass act at Blair makes me smile. Ian also makes me smile. Who/what did he light on fire exactly? And what did Frank do? HMMM? Suspicious..

Random note: Assuming this Frikey includes Frank and Mikey actually dating, it'd be awkward if Ian walked in on them doing it. XD IDK, random thought. yeah ok bye. This is so great to start off, can't wait to see how it unfolds :D

We definitely need more Frikey in this world! Hence, we write this. N'awh, thank you for saying so, we're so excited for what's to come!

Haha! Indeed, Mikey got his Mum's broken side after Gerard's incident, and every little bad thing Mikes does sends her into the anger of unknown, hence why he's not at Blair.

Hmm.. Frank's incident will be revealed soon;)...

LOL, indeed. Or worse. Well, let's see what happens shall we...

Thank you so much love!

I love the descriptions of Frank and the academy. I really can't wait for more.

Oh my gosh, with a mother like theirs, it's no wonder they act like that! D:

At any rate, this is off to a super promising start. I'm really excited to see where you'll go with this. I already really love their characters - you guys' characterization in general, really. :) I'm curious about what Frank did, but it already seems like he's acting tougher than he really is, with how he's bragging he did things that bad and presents himself like that (tattoos, piercings, mohawk) and puts Mikey down for what he did. Lol, what if he did the same thing and is just embarrassed? Anyway, I do think there's more than meets the eye and I'm excited to see where this goes! Thankfully there's another chapter I can read now. Going to do just that! I'm really excited to read some good Frikey. X) <3

But anywho, thank you so much for saying that and for commenting! We'll be sure to keep you and everyone updated:)!

Oh wow I just love this! I have been in scotland for over three months with NO INTERNET ACCESS and had serious withdrawal symptoms so I'm now going to re-read all the chapters of this beautiful *squeal* frikey fanfic to to keep up to date :) also I love how you've written frank to be this insecure bad-boy-bluffer who's really sweet but a kind of hopeless romantic XD
